The Winds has several options for reception venues right on the property:
The Winds has three, tastefully decorated and well appointed meeting rooms. Two of these (the Oleander Room & the Palmetto Room) are located side by side with wide double doors opening out into a hallway between them. This arrangement is perfect for a large reception using both rooms, or for a meeting in one room and breakout meetings, meals or refreshments in the other.
The Garden Room is well suited for meetings, meals or receptions. This beautiful room opens onto a deck surrounded by a lush subtropical garden.
Whether on a sun deck surrounded by or lush sub tropical gardens, in our 1,800 sq. ft. tent or in one of our three function rooms we’ve got you covered.
Our 1,800 sq. ft. tent accommodates receptions of up to 150 people comfortably with room for tables, chairs and our large dance floor.
In addition we have an oceanfront deck near the pool.
It is ideal for receptions in a spectacular setting surrounded by tall palms, banana trees and other exotic plants. This party deck overlooks a wide sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean beyond.
All of our Resort Houses have a great-room ideal for receptions and meetings in a less formal atmosphere.
The Food and Beverage Department can assist with everything from refreshments to meals, local caterers and accommodations for on site oceanfront lodging after the event.
